Hello There! I am excited to introduce my new concept Old School map. Today I want to show you a character based map inspired by one of my favorite characters, Skirk. She is known as the mentor of Childe (Tartaglia). We first learned about her through the lore long before she became playable. Skirk lives deep in the Abyss. It is a mysterious place where time moves differently from the surface. This strange environment shaped her abilities and the way she trains others. She officially joined the game in version 5.7. Because of that, her story comes from an earlier part of the lore compared to version 6.1, which is the current version of the GI game. Skirk lives deep in the Abyss. Inspiration I follow the English voice actress of Skirk on Twitter, Cat Protano. One day she was interacting with her fans, and I wrote a comment saying, "If you follow me, I will make a special race map for Skirk." She actually followed me, and that is how my Skirk adventure began. Note: I already had the idea of making a race map about Skirk. But her support motivated me even more. I had a lot of fun creating the map. While working on it, I decided to focus more on 3D modeling and animation, and I learned many new things along the way. Reference: The map is a reference to Skirks first character trailer video. During the process, I shared my progress with Cat Protano. She kindly gave me feedback and supported me throughout the project. I want to thank her for the motivation. Optimization: Type /lagfix if you are having lag or fps drops. Tell us about yourself Hi again, it's me, Thomas, known in-game as Torque. I am 28 years old and live in Germany. Gaming is one of my hobbies. Mostly I am playing Multi Theft Auto, League of Legends, Shooter, and also some party games, but I am also open to playing new games. Streaming was another hobby, but I sadly do not have much time for streaming currently, but a comeback will come sooner or later. About myself, I can say that I am a chill guy. I am enjoying a good laugh with the people I talk to or I am playing with. I am working as a nurse in an elderly home and also being the assistant manager of the home right now.   What's your MTA history My MTA history started back in 2012/13 on TG with some friends who already knew the gamemode and taught me the basics of driving in DM. We created a small clan named Public Gamers with Aquil. Later we started to play clan wars against a German clan called iRace, led by ColdY and PewX. I joined the clan and also played on the server till the clan closed in 2014/15. After that I played on FFS most of the time, where I joined various clans, including FoXX, INT, and MAD, and also gained experience through the years in several game modes. I played on FFS till I got banned for being in FoXX and trash-talking Sniper back in the day. Because of that, I was searching for something new and found Vultaic, where I played until it got shut down. Later on I played on FoXX and 2022 on Lumiverse until the server shut down. Afterward I decided to play something else until I came back to MTA in 2022/23 and started to play on TFF, where I am actively playing. I mostly played Race/DM and also Shooter over the years on FFS. Now I am playing DM and PDD mostly and enjoying the time playing those gamemodes.   What clans have you been part of, and why did you leave them? I am interested in hosting and planning future tournaments and events on the server. Giving helpful advice to improve the development of the server and help grow a bigger community. Given my fascination with the server and the garage's customization. I can provide helpful ideas and maybe some new thoughts to improve the garage in the future. Since I have experience in support moderation of a server, I would like to help out in keeping a friendly and welcoming experience for all users.  The community is a big part of my interest in joining the clan because with such a big and helpful community, it motivates others, especially me, to be another helpful part for the future of the server. As you can see, I have been in several clans where I was unable to find a suitable place to stay. To write a join request encourages me to find the place here where I can settle down for the rest of my MTA journey and provide happiness to the clan members and also the community!   What can you offer us? As previously stated, I am capable of streaming events on Twitch, which may aid in the expansion of the community beyond MTA and potentially attract new players to the game. People also told me that I should create more funny montages and upload them on YouTube again, which could also help grow the community. I also mentioned that I know how to organize things with people because of my current job and also prepare meetings, but also because of my MTA journey, I am able to support and help people if they have questions or problems. I speak 3 different languages, including German, English, and Russian, which can also help in supporting people who have problems speaking or writing in languages other than their own. With ideas and visions, I could contribute to the future development of the server, which could lead to even bigger enjoyment for the community. Furthermore, I would like to help plan events and tournaments in the future.     Anything else you'd like to add: As you can see I copied my join request from some months ago, since I have nothing new to say except that my working times changed. I work nightshifts only and during my "working week" I am not able to play. What’s your MTA history? eloo, first and foremost, my name outside the game is "Ricardo", but inside the game my name is "Darq". I'm 21 years old and I started playing MTA in 2018 thanks to a friend who asked me, "Do you want to play MTA?" Since then, I haven't stopped playing.   I started playing Deathmatch two years later thanks to another friend I made during that time, and honestly... it was fun. Even though the maps didn't initially appeal to me, there was something that did: the decorations. I was constantly looking at them and wanted to create something similar. I practiced and practiced until I "perfected" the nature theme, which I feel can still be improved quite a bit.    As for the gameplay, it was difficult at first, but it never stressed me out or anything like that. It was fun flying the Infernus, jumping from place to place, and doing spins. until I discovered HDM maps like Dark Matter or Mismatch, maps that helped me improve my skills considerably.   What clans have you been part of, and why did you leave them?   vZ / Veterans zone - The first clan of all, it was fun while the clan was alive, but unfortunately it closed.   4k / Four Skill's - This clan was where I delved much deeper into mapping, participating in clan wars for HDM and WFF, and contributing to the team's server. Unfortunately, this clan also closed.   Xenous - The best so far. Even though he was inactive at times, the conversations were always entertaining and the clan wars were fun. But sadly, I decided to leave because I was losing interest in the clan.   Why do you want to join The Favoured Few?   I always see that it's an active clan, and its members are very open and friendly. Not to mention that they have some very skilled people.   What can you offer us?   I can contribute to what I mentioned earlier, HDM and WFF. With HDM it would be somewhat difficult, more or less like MDM or Almanov's Uprising map. Tell us about yourself. My name’s Kamen, 27M from Bulgaria, moved to the UK at 18 for uni, then stayed to work as a software engineer. What’s your MTA history? It’s a long one - started in 2009 in what is known today as classic OS. I’ve been in and out of the game for couple of months here and there but in general I’ve always stayed involved in the DM community since the start, especially in competitive side between 2013-2020. Ive lost great amount of skill nowadays as I dont have the same time to commit but it’s still enjoyable to participate in specific community events and tournaments.  What clans have you been part of, and why did you leave them? Since 2015 - MAD, XPR, Synergy and TFF. Leaving MAD was a huge step at the time as I had achieved quite a lot with that team in DM, OS and DRAFT but after few people retired or moved on, I thought after 5 years (3 of which leading the team) it was time for me to do so as well. I decided then to try and join XPR, which I did, but not long after I got kicked for some sort of racism I believe which offended some woke people.  In 2021(?) I joined Synergy which was a really enjoyable place to be a part of. Great community, and after a year or two we successfully merged with TFF. I left TFF this time last week for personal reasons which are still valid but maybe could have been handled in a better way from my side.  Why do you want to join The Favoured Few? Being part of TFF has been a priviledge that I didnt realise and appreciate enough I believe. I’d never have thought I’d miss some people - socially and in game feels a bit empty since I left. I've disaappointed others as well and it would be hard to regain that trust, but we live and learn I suppose - there are unfinished things that I didn’t think about at the time. I am not regretting my decision of leaving as it has given me some time to myself to figure things out and see what is the best for me personally - and finding the correct balance again between mta and real life priorities. I am aware that timeline of events is odd but I am working on myself and trying to get better at thinking things through. What can you offer us? Not mental health advice. Apart from that, somewhat of a good company, contraversial opinions and loads of balkan knowledge and culture. In terms of mta - draft management, occasional wff/dm/draft grind, quality organisation and valuable feedback from my years of experience - I mostly take pleasure in doing these kinda things.
