What’s your MTA history? eloo, first and foremost, my name outside the game is "Ricardo", but inside the game my name is "Darq". I'm 21 years old and I started playing MTA in 2018 thanks to a friend who asked me, "Do you want to play MTA?" Since then, I haven't stopped playing.   I started playing Deathmatch two years later thanks to another friend I made during that time, and honestly... it was fun. Even though the maps didn't initially appeal to me, there was something that did: the decorations. I was constantly looking at them and wanted to create something similar. I practiced and practiced until I "perfected" the nature theme, which I feel can still be improved quite a bit.    As for the gameplay, it was difficult at first, but it never stressed me out or anything like that. It was fun flying the Infernus, jumping from place to place, and doing spins. until I discovered HDM maps like Dark Matter or Mismatch, maps that helped me improve my skills considerably.   What clans have you been part of, and why did you leave them?   vZ / Veterans zone - The first clan of all, it was fun while the clan was alive, but unfortunately it closed.   4k / Four Skill's - This clan was where I delved much deeper into mapping, participating in clan wars for HDM and WFF, and contributing to the team's server. Unfortunately, this clan also closed.   Xenous - The best so far. Even though he was inactive at times, the conversations were always entertaining and the clan wars were fun. But sadly, I decided to leave because I was losing interest in the clan.   Why do you want to join The Favoured Few?   I always see that it's an active clan, and its members are very open and friendly. Not to mention that they have some very skilled people.   What can you offer us?   I can contribute to what I mentioned earlier, HDM and WFF. With HDM it would be somewhat difficult, more or less like MDM or Almanov's Uprising map. Tell us about yourself. My name’s Kamen, 27M from Bulgaria, moved to the UK at 18 for uni, then stayed to work as a software engineer. What’s your MTA history? It’s a long one - started in 2009 in what is known today as classic OS. I’ve been in and out of the game for couple of months here and there but in general I’ve always stayed involved in the DM community since the start, especially in competitive side between 2013-2020. Ive lost great amount of skill nowadays as I dont have the same time to commit but it’s still enjoyable to participate in specific community events and tournaments.  What clans have you been part of, and why did you leave them? Since 2015 - MAD, XPR, Synergy and TFF. Leaving MAD was a huge step at the time as I had achieved quite a lot with that team in DM, OS and DRAFT but after few people retired or moved on, I thought after 5 years (3 of which leading the team) it was time for me to do so as well. I decided then to try and join XPR, which I did, but not long after I got kicked for some sort of racism I believe which offended some woke people.  In 2021(?) I joined Synergy which was a really enjoyable place to be a part of. Great community, and after a year or two we successfully merged with TFF. I left TFF this time last week for personal reasons which are still valid but maybe could have been handled in a better way from my side.  Why do you want to join The Favoured Few? Being part of TFF has been a priviledge that I didnt realise and appreciate enough I believe. I’d never have thought I’d miss some people - socially and in game feels a bit empty since I left. I've disaappointed others as well and it would be hard to regain that trust, but we live and learn I suppose - there are unfinished things that I didn’t think about at the time. I am not regretting my decision of leaving as it has given me some time to myself to figure things out and see what is the best for me personally - and finding the correct balance again between mta and real life priorities. I am aware that timeline of events is odd but I am working on myself and trying to get better at thinking things through. What can you offer us? Not mental health advice. Apart from that, somewhat of a good company, contraversial opinions and loads of balkan knowledge and culture. In terms of mta - draft management, occasional wff/dm/draft grind, quality organisation and valuable feedback from my years of experience - I mostly take pleasure in doing these kinda things.
