As the title indicates, and given that several people (who are new to mapping) have asked me what tools to use to create their own maps, here is the set of scripts I usually use, and that many others also use. Some may not use the same tools, but these are the most practical and straightforward to get started creating maps.

and a modified RACE script that leaves the user UI practically empty, since the speedometer, health-bar, and nos-bar are located in the CMAP script radar.
